Last week started out kind of differently...on Sunday afternoon, I noticed these red bumps popping up on Caleb's face...and then his arms. On Monday morning, he had 12 bumps, and of course I took him to the doctor only to find he has CHICKEN POX. And yes, he has been vaccinated. Can you believe it? It was a pain to have to keep him home all week, but really, all in all, 12 chicken pox compared to the 500-1000 or so that they get when not vaccinated, it really wasn't a big deal. By Wednesday, he was really bored...no school, no playing with friends, no social life...and to be honest, I WAS BORED. So, on Thursday morning, most of his pox had scabbed over, and those that hadn't went away, so we hopped in the car and headed to the zoo. It was a really fun morning. He was so excited to be out and about that he ran everywhere and really wore grandma out! Kelly and Parker went with us too...
